Bright, winter painting of local Pennine moorland at sunset. The setting sun is colouring the horizon but bright shafts of light have broken through the dark, layered clouds and illuminate fields in the distant valley.
Colours are white, lilac, tangerine, mauve, purple, blue.
Painted with Sennelier and Michael Harding oils on Belle Arti pre-stretched, gesso-primed canvas panel.
Can be framed but this is not essential for a stretched canvas panel.
