Snow Patches (Etching)

Limited edition etching from my 'Cairngorms' series. The majestic grandeur of the Cairngorms is distilled in this very personal view of Ben MacDui, from the opposite hillside. Patches of April snow linger in the corries and on the Northern slopes. Ragged clouds are a muted echo of the snow patches on the mountainside. Odd blades of grass poke through the thin crust of icy snow in the foreground. This is a handmade artistic print, one of a limited edition from my own etching plate.
